Favorite Meat Loaf
  • 2½ pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork sausage or ham loaf
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes or Italian type tomato sauce
  • 1 cup bread crumbs or oatmeal
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 1 - 8 ounce can Italian tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Mix ingredients

Pack lightly into 2 loaf pans.

Bake 1-1½ hours at 350 degrees

I usually bake one loaf and freeze the other to use at a later date
(or give it to a sick friend).
