Favorite Meat Loaf
- 2½ pounds lean ground beef
- 1 pound ground pork sausage or ham loaf
- 1 can stewed tomatoes or Italian type tomato sauce
- 1 cup bread crumbs or oatmeal
- 3 beaten eggs
- 1 - 8 ounce can Italian tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
Mix ingredients
Pack lightly into 2 loaf pans.
Bake 1-1½ hours at 350 degrees
I usually bake one loaf and freeze the other to use
at a later date
(or give it to a sick friend).
