Cranberry Bread
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup orange juice
- 4 tablespoons hot water
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 4 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups whole cranberries
- 1 cup nut meats
Blend eggs with sugar; add melted butter, orange
juice and hot water
Combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt; add to
egg mixture
Fold in cranberries and nuts
Pour into greased and floured 7 ½ by 3¾ by 2¼
loaf pans
Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes
Makes for 4 loaves
